Diagnostic

Diagnostics includes various examinations and tests in order to make an accurate diagnosis and plan individual therapy. These include, for example, ultrasound, X-ray, MRI, blood tests and more. Careful diagnosis is crucial for successful treatment.

X-Ray machine

Digital X-Ray examination

X-ray examinations are used to diagnose many different injuries or diseases. We have a digital X-ray machine in our clinic. The necessary radiation dose is reduced to a minimum through digital image enhancement and processing.

Ultrasound examination

Sonography

Sonography is a painless and radiation-free examination. This method makes it easier to see the changes in muscles, tendons and soft tissues. It is easier to examine injuries and optimally assess them for specific treatment.

DXA

Bone densitometry

The standard method is Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) using X-rays. It measures bone density at the lumbar spine and upper thigh bone and provides very low radiation exposure to the body and takes only a few minutes. The examination is completely painless.

With our Bone Densitometer its possible to analyse the strength of bone in the most modern way:

Knochendichtemessung
  • Bone density determination in the lumbar spine and femur
  • Very good reproducibility due to high precision
  • Automatic determination of the “Region of Interest (ROI)”
  • LWS body fat measurement
  • Laser-guided patient positioning
  • Measuring time per area of approx. 3 minutes
  • Low radiation exposure of the patient due to point emitters (pencil beam)
  • Intuitive use through user-friendly software
  • Extensive reporting and archiving
  • Comprehensive report of the measurement with output of T and Z score
  • DEXA system according to the gold standard of the WHO
